Recruitment process:

• Once we have received your CV you will be contacted for an interview by an
e-Job consultant. This is not usually an interview for a specific job, but the
consultant will go through your CV with you to confirm and clarify details.
• After the interview your CV will be entered onto our database to be matched to
available jobs. Your references will also be contacted to confirm details,
• Once a match has been made, you will be contacted to see if you are still
available and then your CV will be submitted to the prospective employer.
• It may happen that the employer requests us to perform background checks
such as financial history and criminal records. This is usually only requested if
required by the job, and you will be contacted for permission to carry out the
checks.
• If you are successful thus far, you will be called for an interview with the
prospective employer. You will be contacted to confirm the appointment, and the
address and contact person will be given to you.
• You will again be contacted on the day before the interview as a reminder and to
confirm that you will be attending the interview.
• You will also be coached on how to conduct your self during the interview. Since
the e-Job consultant already has a close business relationship with the client, it is
important to take note of this coaching and adhere to it during the interview.
• At some point after your interview, once the client has made a decision, you will
be contacted with the outcome. It may be that you have been shortlisted, in which
case further interviews may be required.
• Should the client choose to employ you, you will be contacted with the offerred
terms. If you accept them, the client will supply you with a letter of employment.
• It may be that your application is unsuccessful. If this is so, you will be informed
and your CV will then be used for further job searches.

Additional services (chargable to the candidate)
• CV production - the CV that you supplied may not be suitable for submission to
a client, or it may need to be focussed towards a specific position. In either of
these cases, the e-Job consultant will rewrite or modify your CV for our own use.
This revised CV will then be made available to you at a nominal charge.
• Interview tips - while the consultant will coach you before the interview, we have
produced a booklet containing detailed hints and tips for interviews. This booklet
is available to purchase for a small fee.
